Googlebooks to Get Full GeForce Now Support Later This Year

Nvidia has announced that Googlebooks will receive full GeForce Now support later this year. This is not surprising, given that Chromebooks were one of the initial targets for GeForce Now and Google has partnered with Nvidia in the past.

Googlebooks are a line of laptops developed by Google in partnership with several manufacturers, including Acer, Dell, ASUS, HP, and Lenovo. They run on Googlebook OS, which is based on Android and does not have discrete graphics cards capable of powering most games.

GeForce Now allows users to stream games from the cloud directly to their devices, eliminating the need for powerful hardware. While it will be available on Googlebooks in an official capacity later this year, it can already be used through the browser via Google Chrome and Firefox.
