Google's 2026 Pixel Phone Lineup Focuses on AI and Curated Experiences

Google has unveiled its Pixel phone hardware for 2026, and it's not surprising that it looks like last year's lineup. The Pixel 11 series features an evolution of the design from the Pixel 9, with minor tweaks and new hardware goodies.

The standout feature of the Pixel 11 series is the HiLight notification system, which consists of a ring of RGB LEDs inside the flash assembly on the back of the phone. It lights up when you're talking to Gemini, allowing users to know they've been heard without looking at their screen. The HiLight can also alert users to incoming calls from specific contacts.

The Pixel 11 series includes four models: the base model Pixel 11, the Pixel 11 Pro, the Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Each model has its own set of specs, with prices starting at $899 for the base model.

Google has also introduced a new product called the Pixel Tag, which is a Bluetooth tracker that can take advantage of the ultra-wideband radio in Google's Pro phones. The Pixel Tag costs $29 and is similar to Apple AirTag or other tracking devices on the market.
