Google has introduced a new AI training program designed to help marketers quickly upskill in an environment overwhelmed by rapidly evolving AI tools. The program, called the AI Boost Program, features bite-sized video lessons known as AI Boost Bites, where Google marketers share practical workflows and tips in under 10 minutes. These resources are available for free, allowing CMOs across various industries to establish flexible learning plans that build practical AI fluency.
The program includes specific guidance for different marketing teams. For creative teams, Google offers a video on turning Google Slides into polished product demos using tools like Google Vids and Veo. Analytics teams can use a Boost Bite to find the story behind spreadsheet data, while writers and strategists can learn how to pressure-test their documents for clarity and gaps.
Google also provides recommendations for CMOs to support their teams' AI upskilling. This includes modeling the behavior of actively testing tools, creating hands-on learning loops, and treating training like an exciting launch with friendly competitions and celebrations of early wins.
The AI Boost Program is led by Suzanne Martin, Director of Marketer Learning & Development, and Eesen Sivapalan, AI Innovation & Learning Lead at Google.
