Google's AI Mode Revolutionizes Travel Planning with Price Tracking and Hotel Booking
Google has introduced new features to its AI Mode in Search to help users plan and book travel. The upgrades include tracking flight prices, viewing points or miles rates, and booking hotels directly in AI Mode.
The price tracking feature allows users to set up alerts for specific flights without breaking their flow. They can describe their desired destination and dates, and AI Mode will show them the best options available with the latest prices from over 300 partner airlines and travel sites.
In addition, users can now see the cost in points or miles for flights and hotels. For example, they can ask AI Mode to find nonstop flights between two cities using their airline rewards program. The feature is initially supported by Alaska Airlines/Hawaiian Airlines, American Airlines, Choice Hotels International, Hilton, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
Hotel booking through AI Mode has also started rolling out in the U.S. in English with partners such as Booking.com, Expedia, and Marriott International.
