Google's Financial Support Opens Up Youth Soccer to More Families
The Elida Youth Soccer Association has received financial support from Google, making it easier for hundreds of families in Lima and Elida to participate in the program.
The association incurs costs such as printing jerseys and paying for various expenses related to running the program. Despite struggling with these costs every year, Google's generosity has made a significant difference.
'We wish it could be free to participate for every single child across Allen County,' wrote Scott Warris, but 'thanks to the support of a strong community partner in Google, our program has become more affordable for more families.'
The Elida Autumn Classic Soccer Tournament is scheduled for October 10th and 11th, and organizers are encouraging people to come out and show their support.
