Google has released Gemini 3.7 Flash, its latest language model that boasts stronger agent scores and lower token prices compared to rivals like Claude Sonnet 5 from Anthropic.

Gemini 3.7 Flash was shipped on August 13, only three weeks after the release of Gemini 3.6 Flash. According to Google's own model card, it scores 43.6% on FrontierCode 1.1, surpassing Claude Sonnet 5 at 42.7% and GPT-5.6 Terra at 41.3%. On AutomationBench, it scores 30.4% against Claude Sonnet 5's 10.7%

The price of Gemini 3.7 Flash is a significant advantage for developers, with an introductory period from August to December offering $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens.

This pricing strategy has disrupted the market, making Google's model more attractive to companies looking for cost-effective solutions. Anthropic's Claude Sonnet 5, which was initially touted as a cheaper alternative, now finds itself at a disadvantage with higher prices.
