Google's Gemini 4 AI Model Nears Launch as AI Battle Heats Up

Google's Gemini 4 AI model is nearing its launch, according to Koray Kavukcuoglu, senior vice president of Google DeepMind and Chief AI Architect at Google.

Kavukcuoglu said that the model will enter the early stages of post-training soon, where it will be refined for more reliable performance.

He also stated that he expects Gemini 4 to launch 'much earlier' than the end of this year.

This development comes as Google competes with other tech giants in the AI race, including Anthropic and OpenAI.
