Google's Gemini 4 Argon Aims to Reestablish Tech Giant as AI Leader
Google has announced its latest AI model, called Gemini 4 Argon. Analysts at JPMorgan believe it's 'critical' for Google to regain its lead in the AI space.
The new model is being shared with a select group of trusted cyber defenders and partners, as well as the U.S. government, before its public release.
According to JPMorgan analysts, Gemini 4 Argon excels at tasks like coding and reasoning, surpassing or matching rival models from Anthropic and OpenAI in various metrics.
The analysts also see this move as a potential boost for Alphabet stock, with the company maintaining an 'overweight' rating and $420 price target, slightly below the mean target of $434 set by surveyed analysts.
