Google's Gemini Takes Center Stage in Latest Pixel Smartphone Lineup

Google's latest Pixel smartphone lineup puts Gemini at the center of its AI features, which are expected to change how people interact with their devices. The new lineup includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

Gemini Intelligence is a suite of artificial intelligence features that can understand what a user is doing on the phone and take action across different apps. For example, it can connect information from messages, calendars, maps, and other Google services to suggest or carry out next steps.

Rick Osterloh, Google's devices chief, said AI could fundamentally change how people interact with smartphones. He described Gemini Intelligence as 'a totally new way to interact with a computer,' using agentic capabilities that allow users 'not only to find out information but to get things done.'
