Google's Pixel 11 Pro Series Refines Design and Cameras

Google's Pixel 11 Pro series has taken a significant leap forward in design and camera capabilities. The new phones are lighter, with a slimmer camera visor that makes them look more premium.

The Pixel 11 Pro now features a matte Obsidian colorway with a dark camera visor, understated rear panel, and matching Google logo, giving it an almost stealthy appearance. This is a departure from the shinier frames used in previous Pixels.

One of the standout features of the new series is HiLight, which uses subtle colored lighting around the rear flash when the phone is lying face down. Currently, this feature is mainly used to signal calls from favorite contacts and provide visual feedback during hands-free Gemini interactions.

The camera app has also undergone significant changes, with the introduction of Camera Looks. This new feature allows users to choose Natural for a softer approach to detail, Shadows for deeper contrast, or Vanilla for a warmer appearance. Users can even customize these presets further by adjusting contrast, highlights, shadows, vibrance, and tint.

Additionally, the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL get a new 48MP 5x telephoto with a larger sensor, while Google's computational processing now pushes Pro Zoom to 120x. Instant Night Sight can also capture low-light shots up to 4.5 times faster.
