Google's Pixel 11 Series: Stagnation or Evolution?
Google's latest smartphone lineup, the Pixel 11 series, has been released to mixed reviews. While the phones are still some of the best on the market, critics argue that they have become too familiar and lack innovation.
The design language for the Pixel 11 series is identical to its predecessors, with the same sleek designs and smart software. However, the phone's hardware has regressed in a few key areas, including battery life and camera capabilities.
One of the most notable features of the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL is the HiLight module, which consists of a ring of LEDs inside the camera flash. While it sounds impressive, the feature is limited to indicating when the AI is listening or responding, as well as notifying the user when one of their favorite contacts calls.
The displays on the Pixel 11 OLED screens are fantastic, with Google claiming they are twice as scratch-resistant as before. However, the lack of innovation and stagnation in design and hardware have left many wondering if Google is resting on its laurels.
