GPS Disruptions Hit Some Embraer Aircraft, Including E2 Jets

Brazilian planemaker Embraer has reported that some of its aircraft, including the E2 jets, have experienced GPS disruptions. The issue is said to be affecting certain types of aircraft globally, and Embraer is closely monitoring the situation in coordination with operators and equipment manufacturers.

The company stated that it is providing technical support to customers and taking necessary steps to address the problem, which does not impact flight safety. However, airlines may experience operational schedule adjustments due to the issue.

Honeywell Aerospace, whose equipment is fitted on affected aircraft, has acknowledged an issue with receiving GPS signals and is actively assessing the matter. Brazilian carrier Azul has also been impacted by the instability in its E2 fleet operations, implementing measures that may result in route network and flight schedule adjustments.
