GPS Instability Hits Embraer's E2 Jets Amid Operational Disruptions

Brazilian plane-maker Embraer has acknowledged reports of GPS instability affecting some aircraft, including its E2 family. The issue was first reported on September 22.

In a statement, Embraer said it is closely monitoring the situation in coordination with operators and equipment manufacturer Honeywell Aerospace, providing technical support to customers while taking steps to address the problem.

The company emphasized that there is no impact on flight safety, citing navigation systems and procedures that allow affected aircraft to operate even under conditions of GPS instability.
