Green Cola Rolls Out in Over 50 Countries with Zero-Calorie, Plant-Based Formula
Green Cola, a zero-calorie cola made with plant-based ingredients from Greece, has hit retail stores nationwide in over 50 countries and regions. The beverage, which originated in 2012, is now available for consumption as of August 4th, 2026. The packaging features a green logo on a black background, emphasizing the use of natural ingredients.
The ingredients list includes carbonated water, caramel coloring, acidulant, sweeteners (sucralose and stevia), caffeine, and flavoring. With zero calories and no added sugar or preservatives, Green Cola offers an alternative to traditional colas like Coca-Cola.
A comparison between the two reveals distinct differences in taste and color. While Coca-Cola has a strong sweetness and intense spice aroma, Green Cola is slightly less sweet with a refreshing acidity in the aftertaste.
