GSBD Q2FY26 Results: Net Investment Income Soars 70% Amid Reduced Leverage
Goldman Sachs BDC (GSBD) released its Q2FY26 results, showing net investment income rose 70.2% to $0.38 per share.
The increase in net investment income was primarily due to higher top-line revenue and a structural shift in advisor compensation, as the three-year total return lookback mechanism resulted in an outsized incentive fee last quarter but no fee in the current period.
Total investment income increased 6.2% to $83.7 million, while net asset value decreased slightly to $12.06 per share from $12.17 in the first quarter.
