Take-Two Interactive has taken steps to identify the individual responsible for leaking Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay footage. The company filed two DMCA subpoenas in the Southern District of New York on August 20, targeting Microsoft and Discord.

The subpoenas demand that Microsoft and Discord provide information about the 'CyberLeek' persona, including MachineGuid and MSA device identifiers, registration and last-login IP addresses, phone numbers, linked Google and Xbox connections, and OneDrive contents for every account associated with three named Discord servers since June 1.

The affected servers are Ødyssey.gg! Odyssey, and DarkViperAU. The filings also mention a repository on GitHub, which is still public with over 500 stars and nearly 30 forks.

Australian creator Matthew 'DarkViperAU' Judge has denied any knowledge of the leaks in a post on X.
