GTA6 Drops Theme Parks, Offers Largest Map Yet
Grand Theft Auto 6 has been making waves in the gaming world, and recent details have revealed some exciting features about the game. One of the most notable exclusions is the inclusion of massive theme parks like Disney World and Universal Studios in the in-game state of Leonida.
According to senior vice president of environment art Paul MacPherson, the team had to be selective about what they could include in the game due to diversity considerations. They wanted to showcase a range of landscapes, towns, structures, landmarks, and plant species that would give players a full Florida experience.
The game's map will feature six distinct regions: Leonida Keys, the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, Mount Kalaga National Park, and Vice City, which has been completely rebuilt and expanded from its previous appearances. Rockstar Games has called this their biggest map to date.
Senior vice president of narrative Rupert Humphries emphasized that the story was designed to allow players to explore most of the places, cultures, and vibes in a way that feels authentic and interesting. However, some areas will still be left for players to discover on their own.
