Guest Altercations Erupt in Queues at Disney World and Universal
Two separate incidents of guest altercations have made headlines at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort. The first incident occurred on September 12 in the queue for Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, where two men were caught arguing and eventually preparing to fight.
The video shows the two men standing chest to chest, yelling at each other, before a security guard intervenes and begins speaking with both men. The situation escalated quickly, with one man removing his shirt in preparation for a physical confrontation. However, the security guard steps between them, and eventually, the men walk apart.
A separate fight broke out during Halloween Horror Nights 35 at Universal Studios Florida on September 11. A video shows a fistfight in the queue for the Hellraiser haunted house, but it is unclear what caused the altercation or whether anyone was injured. Universal Orlando Resort has not issued a statement addressing the incident.
The incidents raise questions about crowd behavior and how quickly security responds to confrontations. Packed queues can make situations harder to contain, especially during high-traffic events like Halloween Horror Nights.
