GWCET Students Complete IBM SkillsBuild Training Programme

The Govindrao Wanjari College of Engineering & Technology (GWCET) in Nagpur has successfully concluded its three-day IBM SkillsBuild Training Programme. Over 250 students from engineering and polytechnic programmes participated in the training, which focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Career Awareness & Career Skills, and Project Management.

The programme, conducted by four expert trainers from IBM, provided students with interactive sessions, practical activities, and project-based learning. During the AI Awareness sessions, students learned about the rapidly evolving field of AI and its applications across various sectors.

Dr. Salim A. Chavan, Principal of GWCET, appreciated the successful completion of the programme and thanked IBM for providing students with valuable industry-oriented learning opportunities. He emphasized that exposure to AI, career skills, and project management will help students become better prepared for the changing requirements of the industry.

The programme concluded on a positive note, with students gaining valuable knowledge, practical exposure, and an internationally recognised digital learning credential through the IBM SkillsBuild initiative.
