Hammond police are seeking public assistance in identifying two individuals responsible for stealing a wallet from a Home Depot store. According to the Hammond Police Department, officers responded to a report of a missing wallet on September 5 at approximately 4:40 p.m.

The investigation revealed that the wallet had been found and then stolen by an unknown couple who were seen on security camera video getting into a white GMC SUV, possibly a GMC Acadia, before leaving the area.

The wallet's owner later reported unauthorized transactions on their account. Anyone with information on the suspects' identities can contact Detective Rolando Duran with the Hammond Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 985-277-5756.
