Hard Rock Cafe & Coca-Cola Launch Global Music Competition for Emerging Artists

Hard Rock Cafe and Coca-Cola have launched a music competition called Hard Rock Rising to give emerging artists a platform to launch their careers. The competition spans 34 countries and 64 Hard Rock Cafes, where local fan votes will advance artists round by round.

The Coke Studio team will select one grand prize winner who earns a recording session, $10,000, a performance at Hard Rock Orlando, and more. Artist submissions are open now through August 18, with live competition rounds running September 2, 9, 16, and 23.

Eric Martino, President of Hard Rock Cafe and Retail at Hard Rock International, said the competition is 'a natural extension' of their mission to empower emerging artists. Rob Rettberg, a multi-platinum producer, leads the Coke Studio team.
