Michael 'Mickey' Minarik passed away on an unspecified date in 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love for sports, computers, music, and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Born on May 24, 1941, in Vandergrift, PA, he grew up with his brothers David and Steve, and sister Patty. Mike's early life was marked by his passion for sports, playing softball, football, and basketball throughout his school years at Har-Brack High School.
He joined the Navy after high school and worked on computer programming for aircraft, starting his career in computers. After his service, he worked at Honeywell in Philadelphia and later owned Connecting Point Computers until retiring in 2012. Mike was a devoted family man and was proud of his children, Audrey, Michele, and Michael.
He married Pat and later remarried after divorcing her. In his free time, Mike loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle with the Harley Group, traveling as far as Canada and Tennessee, often accompanied by good food, interesting places, and great friends.
