Padraig Harrington is set to break a European Tour record at the Amgen Irish Open. The three-time major champion will play in his 31st consecutive Irish Open, surpassing Seve Ballesteros' previous record of 30 appearances at the Spanish Open.

Harrington has had a successful career with 44 tour wins and says that playing in his home tournament is always special but brings its own pressures. He tees off shortly after 9am, while other Irish hopefuls Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry will start their rounds within 10 minutes of each other.
