Hashgraph Partners With IBM on AI-Agent Identity Software
The Hashgraph Group (THG) has secured a listing for its AI-agent identity software on IBM's cloud marketplace and signed a global partnership with the U.S. technology company.
IDTrust, THG's platform that issues verifiable digital identities to AI agents, devices, and people, has been validated and listed on the IBM Cloud Catalog, making it one of the first commercial Hedera-based applications sold directly as a service through a major cloud marketplace.
The listing puts IDTrust in front of IBM's global enterprise clients. As part of the partnership, THG has qualified for IBM Silver Partner status and signed an Embedded Solution Agreement covering IBM's cloud and AI technology.
IDTrust is already deployed with a European telecoms operator for verified caller identity, and THG is pitching it into a fast-emerging concern known as 'Know Your Agent', where companies are rushing to confirm that autonomous software acting on their behalf is authorized to do so.
