Haunted Mansion Holiday Takes Over Disney's Most Spooky Rides

Two Disney Haunted Mansions are shutting down in the coming weeks. The Tokyo Disneyland version will close on August 4, followed by the Anaheim park's attraction on August 8. Both rides will remain closed for several months while they undergo seasonal transformations.

The Tokyo ride will reopen as 'Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare' on September 15 and run through January 7, 2027. It will then close again from January 8 to February 4, 2027, before being restored to its classic form.

Disneyland's Haunted Mansion will be closed for a shorter period but will also receive the 'Haunted Mansion Holiday' overlay. This send Jack Skellington and the residents of Halloween Town into the mansion, replacing the usual inhabitants.
