Health Canada and CFIA Issue Recalls for Amazon, Home Depot Products in Ontario
Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) have issued new recall notices for several products sold in Ontario. Among the recalled items are hand warmers and strollers available through Amazon, as well as raspberry products from Summerhill Market stores. Additionally, a power station model sold at The Home Depot has been flagged for potential safety risks.
The recalled Goal Zero Yeti 3000X power station, which was sold at The Home Depot, poses a fire and burn hazard due to a potential overheating issue in its circuit board. Approximately 509 units were sold in Canada between May 2020 and August 2025. Consumers are advised to stop using the power station and install a free firmware update available through the Goal Zero application, or contact Goal Zero for a free firmware installation.
The recalls highlight the importance of consumer awareness and prompt action to ensure safety. Health Canada and the CFIA continue to monitor and address potential risks associated with various household items and food products.
