Heat Advisory Issued for East Central Florida as Temperatures Soar

A heat advisory has been issued for all of East Central Florida, including the Walt Disney World area, as temperatures are expected to soar today.

The National Weather Service has placed the region under a Heat Advisory from 10:00am to 8:00pm, with heat index values reaching 108 to 112 degrees this afternoon.

This is the second day in a row that Central Florida has been under a heat advisory, and forecasters do not expect any relief through the rest of the week.
