Hedera Slumps 9.5% as Recent Rally Fails to Sustain Momentum
Hedera (HBAR) dropped nearly 9.5% on Wednesday after its recent price surge failed to sustain momentum, according to data from Traders Union.
The cryptocurrency's decline came despite several key developments in the past few days, including the inclusion of The Hashgraph Group's enterprise identity platform, IDTrust, built on Hedera, in the IBM Cloud Catalog. However, no new investment or partnership was announced between IBM and Hedera, with IBM continuing as a Council member.
The price drop also followed news that several Hedera Council members joined NVIDIA's Open Agent Safety Platform, but NVIDIA did not directly reference Hedera or its affiliates in their official announcements.
Technical analysis suggests that HBAR/USD is trading above key moving averages, indicating bullish momentum across short-, medium-, and long-term trends. However, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) signals a strong sell near mid-range, while the Commodity Channel Index (CCI) indicates overbought conditions.
