Hedge Funds Pile into American Express as Company Sees Surge in Investor Interest

PDT Partners LLC has made a new investment in American Express Company (NYSE:AXP), purchasing 3,800 shares valued at approximately $1.285 million during the second quarter.

This is not an isolated instance, as several other hedge funds have also increased their stakes in the company over the past few quarters.

For example, Evolution Wealth Management Inc. saw its stake in AXP increase by 6,600% in the fourth quarter, while Joseph Group Capital Management and Sfam LLC each made new investments worth $26,000.
