Hegseth's Financial Filing Reveals Modest Bitcoin Holding

Pete Hegseth, a public figure, has made significant changes to his financial portfolio in recent years. According to his latest financial filing, he holds between $16,000 and $65,000 worth of Bitcoin, representing a small portion of his overall assets.

The filing also reveals that Hegseth sold positions in major defense companies, including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Honeywell, as well as private equity firms KKR and Blackstone. He focused new allocations on broad market index funds for the remainder of 2025.

Hegseth's financial disclosures report two mortgages secured against a personal residence, with one originated in 2022 and the other in 2025. The newer mortgage carries an interest rate of 8.5%.
