Hershey Names New CFO Amid Growing Concern Over Food Recalls

The Hershey Co. has named Dave Hulays its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Hulays brings almost 30 years of financial leadership experience to his new position, having worked at The Hershey Co. since 2012 and previously at Procter & Gamble (P&G) for 15 years.

Hulays succeeds Steve Voskuil, who will retire early next year as SVP, strategic projects. Hulays has assumed responsibility for various areas of the company's finance organization and has helped shape nearly every corner of the business.

In related news, a survey by GS1 US found that 94% of U.S. adults are concerned about the frequency of food recalls, up from 93% in 2025. The survey also showed that consumers are increasingly taking broader precautions following food safety incidents, with 67% having avoided an entire food product category following a recall.
