A 28-year-old man from High Ridge is facing new charges in St. Louis City for breaking into a home on the market, while already on bond for statutory sodomy in Jefferson County.

Cody Haynes and others used a rented Home Depot van to target a staged home in the Tower Grove East neighborhood between Aug 2 and Aug 5.

Police said they ripped out copper from the walls and stole tools, appliances, and construction materials worth $750 or more.

A distinctive tattoo on Haynes can be seen on surveillance video, leading police to identify him as one of the perpetrators.
