Hinsdale High Schools Partner with Nvidia on AI Initiative

Hinsdale High School District 86 has approved an agreement with Nvidia to develop practical skills in AI, accelerated computing, and data science.

The partnership will initially target technology support internship students and members of Central and South's AI clubs.

Nvidia officials have emphasized the company's commitment to safety and security, stating that they are 'the first company with a closed-door system to make sure their AI models are not going rogue.'

The district has also addressed potential drawbacks to the pilot program, including students' overreliance on AI-synthesized summaries and lack of upper-level math skills.
