Hobbit Booster Boxes Get Price Cut Ahead of Prime Day Sale

Amazon has discounted Magic: The Gathering's The Hobbit Booster Boxes ahead of its Prime Big Deal Day sale in early October. The boxes, which usually cost $209.70 for 30 packs, are now available for $169.99.

This represents a price cut of approximately $40 or about 19% off the usual price. With this deal, buyers can get their hands on 30 packs of The Hobbit booster box for around $5.66 per pack instead of the usual $6.99.

The boxes also come with a foil box topper featuring a reprint from The Lord of the Rings set, complete with special borderless alternate artwork.

Robert Anderson, IGN's Senior Commerce Editor and resident deals expert, has highlighted some of the most valuable cards in The Hobbit set. According to TCGplayer prices, Gleaming Splendor is currently commanding around $530 per pack, making it a highly sought-after pull for collectors.
