Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge Reopens with Covered Patio
The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge at Disney's Hollywood Studios has finally reopened after months of construction. The lounge was closed in late June as crews worked on a substantial makeover of the patio, which included adding a full covering with ceiling fans and decorative lanterns.
The project began on June 29 and took over two months to complete. During this time, the walk-up bar temporarily relocated to the former Starring Rolls space while construction continued.
The new covering, which matches the color of the existing entrance canopy, provides guests with considerably more protection from Florida's intense sun and rain. The addition also features ceiling fans to help circulate air underneath the awning.
