Home Depot Breaks Ground on First Southern Maryland Store
The Home Depot has secured a 13.52-acre site in Lexington Exchange, Baltimore, Maryland to build its first store in southern Maryland.
This new location will be part of a 140-acre mixed-use retail space and marks the hardware retailer's entry into the region.
The Home Depot plans to open 65 new locations across all its brands this year, including this new store, which is expected to bring an influx of new jobs to the area.
Aldi will also join The Home Depot as part of the development at Lexington Exchange, along with other businesses such as Royal Farms and Chipotle Mexican Grill.
