Home Depot Expands Skilled Trades Training for Young People
The Home Depot and Boys & Girls Clubs of America have partnered to launch Path to Pro Skills Explorers, an initiative aimed at expanding young people's access to hands-on skilled trades exploration.
The program was launched on September 17, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia, with the presence of Jenni Girtman from Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The goal is to provide young people with opportunities to explore and develop skills in various trades such as construction, electrical work, and plumbing.
The partnership between Home Depot, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, and Scouting America brings together organizations committed to providing access to skilled trades training for underrepresented groups. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between education and job readiness in these fields.
