Home Depot Hosts Free Kid-Friendly Workshops This Saturday
Home Depot will host free workshops for kids across the United States this Saturday. The event is part of their Kids Workshops program, which aims to introduce children to basic construction skills and tool usage through simple projects.
The October workshop, scheduled for October 3, 2026, will focus on building a Witch Candy Box with a witch theme. The project typically takes around 30 minutes to complete, but can vary depending on the design and skill level of the participant.
Families are encouraged to attend with children aged 5-12, accompanied by an adult, such as a parent or guardian. The store employees will organize the workshop, and the accompanying adult's participation is considered part of the experience.
Home Depot provides the necessary tools and materials for the project, including a children's apron, badge, and participation certificate. However, it is recommended to register in advance and arrive early, as materials may be limited.
