Home Depot Q2 Earnings Show Modest Growth Amid US Retail Slowdown
Home Depot (HD) announced its Q2 2026 earnings, showing a modest increase in sales and net earnings. The company reported $47.9 billion in total sales, up 5.7% year-over-year. Comparable sales rose 1.7%, with US comparable sales increasing by 1.3%. Net earnings reached $4.8 billion, or $4.79 per share, compared to last year's $4.6 billion, or $4.58 per share.
The company also reported adjusted EPS of $4.92, up from $4.68 last year. Looking ahead, Home Depot anticipates total sales growth of 2.5-4.5% and comparable sales growth of flat to 2% for fiscal year 2026. Both GAAP and adjusted EPS are expected to grow approximately flat to 4% from the previous year.
