Home Depot Rolls Out Three-Hour Delivery Across US
The Home Depot has launched an Express Delivery service across the U.S., promising to deliver eligible orders in three hours or less. The new service is available to both professional contractors and small-time customers, with a flat fee that hasn't been disclosed by the company.
Home Depot relies on over 2,000 stores nationwide to fulfill orders for thousands of products, including plumbing and electrical supplies, paint, tools, hardware, and other common project essentials. Customers can check if an item is eligible for Express Delivery on its product page or at checkout.
The express delivery launch comes after Home Depot saw a boost from shoppers tackling smaller home improvement projects this summer, helping the retailer post better-than-expected second-quarter results despite the ongoing slump in the U.S. housing market. Revenue rose to $47.86 billion from $45.28 billion, beating analyst expectations of $47.24 billion, according to FactSet.
