Home Depot Sales Boosted by Smaller Projects
Home Depot's sales have seen an improvement in the second quarter due to customers focusing on smaller projects during the summer months.
The company reported revenue of $47.86 billion, exceeding Wall Street's expectation of $47.24 billion according to FactSet.
Globally, comparable store sales rose 1.7%, while in the U.S., they increased by 1.3%.
Chief Financial Officer Richard McPhail stated that 'we saw broad based demand across the business as customers continued to engage in smaller projects.'
