Home Depot's stock price increased after the company reported its second-quarter fiscal 2026 results, which exceeded expectations. The Home Depot, Inc. (US4370761029) announced revenue growth of 5.7 percent to $47.9 billion and adjusted diluted earnings per share of $4.92, a 5.1 percent increase from the same quarter in fiscal 2025.

The company reaffirmed its full-year guidance for modest gains in sales and profits, despite posting stronger-than-expected sales and earnings in the second quarter. Management highlighted the benefits of tariff refunds, which reduced cost of goods sold by $685 million in the quarter, as well as controlled operating expenses and investment in digital capabilities.

The Pro segment outpaced DIY demand, with positive comparable sales growth, reflecting targeted investments in the Pro ecosystem. Home Depot also introduced Express Delivery nationwide, further integrating its stores and distribution network with its digital platform.
