The Home Depot has appointed Christine Foster as general manager and vice president of Orange Apron Media, its retail media arm. She will replace Melanie Babcock, who left the company last October to join 1-800-Flowers as chief marketing and growth officer.

Foster is currently group vice president of commercial strategy and operations at Kroger Precision Marketing, where she has led teams focused on insights, digital advertising sales, incentives, and operations. She will begin her new role on September 9th and report directly to Molly Battin, Home Depot's senior vice president and CMO.

Battin praised Foster's experience and leadership abilities, stating that 'her vision and leadership will help us accelerate our strategy and unlock new value for the brands and customers we serve.'
