Home Depot Unveils Nationwide Express Delivery in 3 Hours or Less
The Home Depot has rolled out express delivery nationwide, allowing customers to receive eligible orders in three hours or less. The service uses Home Depot's supply chain network and more than 2,000 US stores as fulfillment hubs.
Pro and DIY customers can use the delivery service for a $7 flat fee in most major markets and a $10 flat fee in Los Angeles, according to a Home Depot spokesperson. Express delivery eligibility is available on product pages and in the cart at checkout for thousands of SKUs, including plumbing, hardware, paint, and tools.
Home Depot has been focused on maximizing its supply chain capabilities, including speedier deliveries. The company has cut its delivery lead times in the US by 45% over the last 18 months, according to Executive Vice President of Merchandising Billy Bastek.
