Home Depot Volunteers Transform Loveland Resident's Property
Home Depot employees from Team Depot 5943 in Northern Colorado recently teamed up with the nonprofit A Little Help to assist a Loveland resident with a significant home improvement project. The team was connected with Carol Brumagim, a widow struggling to maintain her large property after the passing of her husband. Home Depot volunteers spent their day clearing weeds, trimming overgrown shrubs, mowing the lawn, and performing other essential yard work.
The project held special meaning for Brumagim, who expressed gratitude that the work was completed by employees of a company her late husband frequently shopped at. She emphasized that she could not have undertaken the project alone. The effort was coordinated through A Little Help, which pairs volunteers with individuals in need, particularly veterans and their families.
Brumagim also noted that the home improvement project coincided with her birthday, making the day even more memorable. She thanked both A Little Help for facilitating the work and all the volunteers who contributed to the property upkeep.
