Home Depot's Express Delivery Speeds Up Essential Supplies Across the US
Home Depot is making it easier for customers to get essential supplies with its new Express Delivery service, which promises to deliver eligible orders in three hours or less. The service is available across the US and can be used by both professional contractors and small-time DIYers.
The delivery option is a flat fee, but Home Depot has not disclosed the cost yet. Customers don't need a subscription or membership to use Express Delivery, which is fulfilled by over 2,000 US stores.
Express Delivery includes thousands of products, such as plumbing and electrical supplies, paint, tools, hardware, and other common project essentials. Whether it's for a small DIY job or a time-sensitive professional project, the service aims to make it easier than ever for customers to get the supplies they need quickly.
This new delivery option comes after Home Depot reported better-than-expected second-quarter results, despite the ongoing slump in the US housing market. Revenue rose to $47.86 billion from $45.28 billion, beating analyst expectations of $47.24 billion.
