Home Depot's Mixed Q2 Results: Revenue Growth, Higher Debt

Home Depot's (HDI) latest financials reveal mixed results for the company. The home improvement retailer reported a revenue growth rate of 5.8% in Q2 2026, with revenue reaching $47.89 billion.

Gross profit increased by 1%, while gross margin dipped to 31.89%. Net income rose by 4.8% to $4.77 billion, and EBITDA grew by 1.5% to $7.70 billion.

However, total cash decreased by 25.6% to $2.09 billion, while total debt increased by 2.1% to $62.60 billion. Accounts receivable rose by 18.5%, and inventory grew by 8.1%.

The company's return on assets remained steady at 13.01%, while free cash flow surged by 21.1% to $4.51 billion.
