Halloween is just around the corner, and for enthusiasts of spooky decorations, The Home Depot's annual reveal has become an event unto itself. This year's lineup includes a revamped version of the popular 12-foot Skelly skeleton, which returns with its biggest upgrade since 2020.

The new Skelly is app-controlled, allowing users to speak through the skeleton via a Bluetooth voice modulator and control head and jaw movements using built-in servo motors. The LCD LifeEyes also cycle through 20 different effects, and LED lights glow inside the ribcage for an otherworldly look.

The classic Skelly remains a great option for those who prefer to stick with what they know. This version still boasts a 12-foot frame, posable arms, and animated LCD LifeEyes with eight settings, but lacks the voice modulation and servo movement features of its app-controlled counterpart.
