Honeywell Aerospace Faces Class Action Lawsuit Over Supply Chain Misrepresentation
Honeywell Aerospace Inc., the aerospace unit of Honeywell International, is facing a class action lawsuit from investors who claim they were misled about the company's supply chain concentration. The suit alleges that roughly 2% of the company's suppliers controlled factory output worth hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue, but this information was not disclosed to shareholders.
The complaint claims that management made positive statements about output and demand conversion without a reasonable basis, leading to a drop in HONA shares by 23.16% on August 6, 2026, after second quarter results were released. The lawsuit also contends that the company's dependency on a narrow subset of suppliers was material to its output and profitability.
The case presents questions about supply chain concentration disclosure obligations in the aerospace sector, according to Joseph E. Levi, Esq., who is representing the investors. He notes that shareholders are entitled to evaluate risks of this magnitude for themselves.
