Honeywell Aerospace Sees Surge in European Defense Business
Honeywell Aerospace has seen significant growth in its European defense business due to increased demand for advanced navigation technologies. The company's Civitanavi Systems inertial navigation solutions are now supporting defense programs in Ukraine, Poland, Italy, and several other European markets.
The growing demand follows Honeywell Aerospace's acquisition of Civitanavi Systems in 2024, which strengthened its portfolio of European-built navigation technologies.
According to Matt Milas, President of Defense and Space at Honeywell Aerospace, 'European defense programmes are entering a new phase of long-term investment.' He noted that customers are looking for reliable partners with proven technologies, manufacturing capacity, and dependable supply chains.
